@ricglos Hi ther is about 3 inches on each side.You have to be careful on these locks as on the second lock you need to lift your fenders to prevent you getting stuck in the lock. On the boat with us is my son and daughter in law.They live in Madrid and Astrit is from Mexico city

bout time for a comment. what was the clearance on either side of your boat in the lock??? looked like 5 inches or less! im american and the last canal boat that went through here was 1912!! im in akron, ohio, love your video, reply back?
