these songs make me miss my Grandma. She used to play piano in Vaudeville and silent movie houses. Played these at family parties her whole life until she was 99. and my great aunts used to sing along--they were in their teens and twenties in '26. was this their Madonna and Lady Gaga? LOL

I wish more people my age (26) appreciated music like this. Songs nowadays are so angry. 20s-40s were happier times and their music reflects it. I have one of those "BOOOOOM BOOOOOM" sound systems in my car. Can't wait to blast this next to a rapper at a red light!!! Heeeehehehehe

Great song, but i like it when Betty Boop sings it.

Come to think about it, it may be Louise Brooks. It is either Colleen Moore or Louise Brooks.

That was Colleen Moore. You were right.
This has got me "flapping", and I'm seventy one!
Thank you for sharing all your postings. They are great.

I used to listen to Jan Garbers records when I was young. I liked him very much. I think listening to a varied type of music helps to enjoy all kinds of music. It seems so many of the new songs are just versions of older ones, I notice this more as I get older. Thanks
