Many non--Christians find the behavior of some Christians off--putting rather than inviting. Many Christians do too! Now Bruce Bickel and Stan Jantz, authors of Knowing the Bible 101, take an unflinchingly honest and often humorous look at some believers' outlandish behavior. This candid assessment of the church will bridge the communication gap, empowering Christians to share their faith more freely and helping those who don't yet believe discover the truth about God without being distracted by...

judgmental attitudes, hypocrisy, and condemnation
confusing mixtures of politics and the gospel
defensive positions in the "God vs. science" debate
extreme teachings about prosperity
unbalanced fixations on the end times
uninformed opinions about others' beliefs
unprofessional Christian media and entertainment

This refreshing call to authentic Christianity will help Christians and non--Christians get past the peripheral issues and communicate openly and honestly about God.

  • I am not sure what a liberal means. I am a christian and I believe that you can not go to church and be saved. I also believe that God loves sinners. The bible says so he sent his only begotten son to die on the cross to take sinners place. This proves he loves sinners. I go to church because I want to not because I think I have to. Your video is very creative by the way.

If satan was an angel and in the present of god (same situation as how you picture heaven), how could he rebel?..

If being in heaven in the presence of god and without an already existing satan, angels can rebel, then heaven is not all good and somebody could rebel again (after jesus' 2nd coming) and god would've to start everything again.

Last question (theologians always dance around this..)

    3) Why didnt god eliminate satan, OR let satan exist and skip this 'test' of faith?

    Thanks

  • @lucy9359

Hmm ok, you still believe billions of people will suffer eternal torment, BUT at least jesus loves us ;)

Now I have 2 questions for you. Please try to answer in the best way you can! (no preaching pls..):

1)Free will, how can it exist when god knows the outcome of every life? He just watches us knowing who will "choose" jesus and who dont?.. If our soul makes the decision, we have free will but our souls dont...god made each soul in a certain way right?

    2) How could satan rebel?

  • @masterxgt No I just like trolling trololololo

  • @TheDrewManXD I bet you feel very smart insulting me and others like that.

  • @ReligionInTheBin Well for your question 3, god didnt eliminate satan because he gave us all a choice, and he did the same for humans. Its just we live in a crappy world that Satan owns and thats why theres Christianity, that way to still be with God

  • @masterxgt It is false. Most christians are just plain dumbasses.

  • this video is false. being a Christian does not mean your perfect, it means you realize that you are not perfect and a sinner and accept Jesus and his sacrifice that he died to pay your sins and then overcame death. and it is also false because it says God hates the sinner... no, God doesnt hate the sinner, he hates the sin! sin is a separation from God, its sin that separates us from God and thats why God hates sin, not the sinner, because the sinner can be saved and made clean through Jesus.

  • @ReligionInTheBin me explain. If only God existed, there would be no sin. The two polar opposites represents decision. To choose God or not in every circumstance. If there was only God, we'd all be robots worshipping Him. Through free-will and choice, we can show genuine, sincere love back to God. God loves us enough as to let us have free-will. And sometimes we get mad at Him for letting us have it. Like getting into a fight w/ someone and blaming God. Or something like that. Hope that answers!

  • @ReligionInTheBin I hope you are reading this since it's been like a year. God didn't have to create us, he wasn't lonely. He was and is a perfect trinity. God is love. Now I don't know the mind of God, but perhaps He wanted an outlet for His love. So He created the most unlovable of things, and loved them so much as to save them with the death of His son. All He wants is for us to love Him back. To turn away from Satan and come to God. God allowed Satan to rebel so there would be freewill. Let-

  • @VetinariClone That is very sad. I agree Christians can indeed be intolerant. However, intolerance to sin and intolerant are not the same thing. Christ came to save sinners. I think some Christians forget this and some are so eager to tell the good news, "look i was sick and full of sin and now Jesus has set me free" but they can forget to mix it with Love. A big mistake as God is love. In the end though we are all sinners, it was Jesus who was perfect. Go to him, he loves purely

  • @VetinariClone My friend, the best answer is to pray to God for wisdom and salvation through his son Jesus Christ. Do it earnest and you will see results. I have studied several religions. I am not an expert, but i've found the difference between Christianity and all else is that the others preach works. Do this and do that and if u r very good you'll be saved. Being a Christ follower is different. Christ's actions save u, and Christ helps you to reject sin, but it's He who saves.

  • @ReligionInTheBin All this said, you are God's child and he will hold our for you until the very end. My friend the Kingdom of Heaven is near at hand. Repent and be freed. I pray God blesses you with peace and wisdom of the heart, and that you know Jesus Christ for the beautiful being he is. God bless.
