  • bet he would smash oyu

  • Excellent video. Again, Mr Will shows simple tips that people with no stand up striking skills can use to enhance and make more street applicable their bjj. I trust these techniques 100%, there are simple, direct and full of aggressive energy. I believe that this mentality of simple clinch-throw-submit/strike sequences is much more effective than the supposed-to-be "deadly" eye gouges and throat strikes of military and traditional MA.

  • For the nay sayers...If you can't take a body shot your going to get knocked out anyway. Besides that's why you suck in your stomach, breath out & change your level. I often use this in mma sparring, you just throw it in as if it's an elbow strike, then clinch. It's a 4 point cover.

  • so what if he punches you in the stomach?

  • like that smash when he walks into him ^^ Tsh,tsh-BOOM! ^^

  • and there goes side kick to the body....or punch to the liver...

  • OMG I LOVE IT

  • @jukcoder it's mainly a technique used for a street fight. A professional fighter would throw some flurry and catch you with an uppercut under the arms. Resulting in one massive headache. ;)

  • whoever said old men can't dance?

  • and if then comes an uppercut????

  • That is a good technique -never seen it used in UFC

  • I understand what you are getting at... but as someone who trains LEO's and bouncers, your mistaken. His entry is for a self-defense situation. Though a boxer might think to adapt if he were to use it at length, it only needs to work long enough to get the initial clinch. If you think a boxer can defeat a trained grappler in a clinch, please review the entire first decade of MMA competition. Or come by my school. :) By the way, I box and love it. Just not enough itself.
