silver seven and all of them dont count. wardo06 obviously means the current (not past) ottawa senators...and they havent won the cup yet. actually, they are pretty close to mediocrity right now.

yeah it was a stanley cup then, for the original ottawa senators. i don't see how it could be the same team if they didn't play for about fifty six years. and when carolina won it there were 30 teams in the league...how many when the senators won those eleven? and what kind of team wins eleven championships and can't afford to stay in town?

Do you not realize why the Sens were going bankrupt? It was not fan support by any means - they have always been WAY above league average. The construction of the building was corrupt and the development of the overpass, etc .. in addition the struggling Cdn dollar at the time. Arenas aren't paid for by the government here like they are in the US - US teams have it easy and many still can't survive
