This movie is actually pretty funny!

I saw this film at the Ledgewood Drive-In when I was 8 or 9 and still remember parts that made my family laugh until we cried. A classic-

Paul Ford (after Brian Keith broke Ford's sword over his knee) incredulously: "That...that was an Admiral Dewey Memorial sword!..."

Brian Keith (wiping nose with finger): "Yeah."

I have always loved this movie.

It is one of my all-time favorites.

Hollywood does not make films like this today.

Good clean fun and pure memories.

Awesome movie. One of my favs. can't believe this doesn't have more hits. would be great if someone posted the whole thing in parts. "Lillies of the Field" is posted in full. Also one of my favs with Poitier. Allison Palmer, where are you? Many thanks for this great clip. Stuff like this is never on TV any more. What a shame.
