State Bank (Making your bank a Better bank) Commercial 1992

This commercial is for State Bank, which is now known as Bank SA. The State Bank left SA in huge debt under the Labor Bannon Government and John Bannon had to resign as Premier in 1993. This ad is advertising a very low interest rate of 9.25% per annum fixed for 1 year, which is huge by todays interests rates. This ad was broadcast before Easter Sunday 1992 during an episode of Burkes Backyard, which was on location at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney, on Spencer Gulf and Broken Hill TV station GTS-BKN, which is now known as Southern Cross GTS-BKN.
