Best Way to Remove Anti Virus System Pro

http://www.antivirussystempro.com is a great website to automatically remove the Anti Virus System Pro virus. This virus totally hijacked my computer and stopped me doing the simplest things such as checking my email. I went to this website and used the automatic method to download the software which found the virus and removed it.

you have to open task manager before the virus loads during start up so it doesn't get a chance to stop you from opening it

Hey guys... just giving you an update... restart your computer in safe mode with networking, next, press ctrl + alt + del and open task manager, next, end processes for all files that resemble the virus' name or anything that looks fishy... you nothing to loose at this point, next, open mycomputer and delete files associated with the virus, next open firefox (if you have it) if not then open Internet Explorer and go to our website and run the free scan to locate any remaining threats

( very important). now find the process that ends in " ***sysguard"( the first few letters may vary), now right click and select open file location. then End the process and then delete that file in the folder!!!!!

Anyway, as I previously stated this thing hijacked my I.E. Perhaps I could have rebooted and attempted to use my Mozilla browser but I didn't . To repair my pc, I rebooted in safe mode. This allowed me to run my AdAware (which actually was able to detect and repair some problems) I then downloaded Malware Bytes to a disc from a different pc, uploaded it to my infected pc, ran a full system scan, repaired all detected problems, rebooted in normal mode and voila! All was fixed.

What bothers me is that this guy states at 0:27 that "you can't really use your computer while this program is on there." Again at 1:16 "I couldn't do anything, couldn't check my email, couldn't surf the net." Yet then he proceeds to tell you to go to this website and download this magical repair to your computer. (the same computer that presumably can't surf the web to get to the repair site)

I got this virus a couple days ago while visiting a skiing and snowboarding website. It hijacked my Internet Explorer browser, gave me a bunch of virus alerts in the lower right hand corner, and proceeded to automatically open dozens of porn sites. I could do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, couldn't run any programs, internet explorer, open my task manager or even log out. I had NEVER been to any questionable sites on my machine. Easy fix; see next post.
