That was really helpful. Thanks for making a video like this. I had no idea about kale giving them gas. I've so far only been getting lettuce, kale, broccoli, and parsley (usually only one or two at a time), but I see I need to get more variety of vegetables. It feels less confusing and overwhelming now. Although I still don't know much about which fruits and treats are okay. I'm going to have to take a look at your other videos.

Thank you, Blhtaz. I don't know for sure that the Bok Choy stalk would hurt them. Most bunnies just won't eat it. None of mine will. However, if your rabbits love it and it doesn't upset their digestive tracts, a little bit is probably okay. :)

Excellent video!! I was surprised that they are not to have the white stalk of bock choy. We don't use that vegetable often, but when we do, they love the white stalk...not any more though. They are just like humans, always loving things that aren't good for them.
R.I.P. Pixel. Sorry for the loss.

starting with parsley is ok for my 9 week old under weight rabbit? he is 425 grams i rang the vet and they said for his age he's suppose to be at least 600 grams. =(

Along with the veggies, feed him unlimited Alfalfa pellets and hay. When he's 3 - 4 months old, if he's at a good weight, gradually change the Alfalfa hay and pellets to Timothy hay and pellets. He should have hay available all the time, but start limiting his pellets when he's older. But, for now, make sure he has Alfalfa hay and pellets all the time. He's very fortunate to have you taking such great care of him! :))))

when u say start giving ONE vegetable to a young rabbit.. mine is 9 weeks old and when i got him he was under weight so i started to feed him vegies. should i just cut down to the ONE for now? im take it yes. what Vegie should i start with?
thanks

I would start with Romaine lettuce. Starting with one veggie is advised so if your rabbit has trouble digesting it, you will know it. However, if your rabbit's poops are well formed and his urine is normal, then you're doing fine. Do stay away from the veggies that can cause gas, like Broccoli and Endive.
