Are you sure that was far more Barbaric than some of the horrible Draconian crimes of Mass Murder that the Savage Oliver Cromwell committed! for example the Mass murder of Women and children in places like Limerick City and other Cities in Ireland where he and his fellow savages set fire to Churches with people in them and having his troops blocking their escape.

@RichardElden I did hear of Oliver Cromwell, so did all his endless unfortunate untold thousands of victims of his barbaric treatment of human beings. This particular cruel sadistic Butcher stands Head and shoulders above the average Mass Murderer. This filthy freak enjoyed murdering Women and children also. However this degenerate Sadist didn't even fare too well in his own country where he was eventually executed for at least some of his horrible crimes.

I don't think so, my friend. Much of that depends on how the term "hispanic" is defined.
Mexican and Peruvian identity is premised on being half Spaniard and half native Mexican/ Peruvian. Though I would never deny de Valera's Gaelic roots, I am also ready to affirm his Spanish/ Latin roots. The name de Valera does not sound like a particularly Gallego name. It resounds very much Castellian (Spanish).
By that logic, that makes him Hispanic, but no less Irish- and a great Irishman at that.
