This is something different. I usually edit these shoots down to be less BORING for you. But here I leave most of the original gun testing footage in with the PFIs helping me out on certain firearms. As the day of running Sledgehammer Short Drill winds down, I roll in some extensive .380 testing, namely a 1980s Walther PP and then a Bersa Thunder 380. Then we send rounds through the Sig 1911-22 (GSG) and the excellent Weatherby Vanguard .308 carbine. Note the complete darkness in which I shoot the Vanguard in without any artificial light; proving concept for todays high quality scopes like the Weaver used here. That fireball is impressive. While they shot ok here, a couple of these guns provide bad surprises in their "9th inning" of TNP testing (especially when it gets cold) and disappoint. I will cover that in the tabletop reviews. The name will make sense in the video ;-)

  • @TheLateBoyScout Good comment and thanks for weighing in LBS. It's cool to reference PTA achieved in the tabletops. So far the TNP Bersa has ran good in 400 rds, hope it holds

  • @SuperSneakySniper Wow and thought it'd flatline

  • @Nnatere That mag system sounds killer, will look into. Will keep he offer to run in mind;-)

  • @smidsyonfire Totally agree, UK gun laws are a public menace

  • @meebit That thing was awesome!

  • Love to see the Weatherby Vanguard in the project, I was actually thinking about the Vanguard when you reviewed the M77. $385 is a great price. Mine's full sized in .30-06 (holds 5+1), it's my whitetail hunting rifle. I'd like to get a .308 carbine, but I am happy with the '06. I have shot under 1.25 inch groups (which is good, for me) with it at 100 yds with cheap Winchester Power Point 150 grs. Most accurate rifle I own, and if I modified it a little I could probably get it to MOA. Cool owl.

  • I can't help it the next pistol I buy will be a ppq. I'm hearing too many good things

  • After your table top and seeing it run and gun i might have to go pick up the PPQ really interested in that gun ... As always great vid and keep up the great work

  • if you guys want you can see my vid it was my first time shooting :)

  • Have you done trench warfare drill on the PPQ yet love to see that

  • How much is the 1911

  • This video was awesome. Are we gonna see a Weatherby Vangaurd review in the future. I have been looking at the Weatherby and Howa for a few weeks now. Thanks Nutn. Awesome vids.

  • This video was sweet! I loved it! Thanks for posting Nutn!

  • My GSG runs just fine on the cheap stuff. Remington green brick o bullets. Also the Winchester cheap stuff as well... I noticed Nutn using the cci's... I say skip em and realize more cost savings with the bulk packs.

  • Very cool R&G and gun testing. I would like to hear more on the testing of the Sig 1911-22. Way cool video!
