Unlocking Shockwave - Transformers: War for Cybertron

I found it very confusing to get the unlocked character I was promised by pre-ordering at Gamestop. Luckily, a player online explained to me you have to redeem the code through the xbox live menu.

1- Go to www.transformersgame.com/redemption and sign-up for your appropriate code

2- login and enter the receipt code given to you by you pre-order location of choice. If you didn't get a code or lost it, call the place of purchase and they will give you a new one.

3- press the xbox button on your controller and flip to the far left and choose REDEEM CODES. Enter your code here

4- if you enter a valid code, you will be taken to a quick download of the unlockable character.

5- Go to the multi-player version of the game and choose the appropriate character class for the character you just unlocked. Shockwave was Scientist, Demolisher is most likely Solider, and Jazz is probably Scout.

6 - Get your ass kicked by everyone else because you haven't used these classes very much yet. Enjoy!
