clyde was connecting with beings not of this realm when he was in that zone...but if u talking funky drummers mans gotta mention idris muhammad circa 1968 blue note period and of course bro zig of the meters...i like how these cats sound! anyways bro, its late an i gotta write a proposal 4 work to be submitted in less than 6 hrs..cant be hearing this funk all night as i aint gonna work. so its time to switch to my favourite drummer- philly joe jones on some miles davis, sids ahead. peace

That's what I'm saying! I'd like to know who Butd thought was better than Clyde. Far as I can tell, Bernard was number two funky drummer, and there's nobody else besdies these two - not Jab, and not Morgan!
