@nsxfan16 Ił-62 were a very good planes. A lot of them are still flying in Azja. Some are in Russian Airforce. When President Miedviediev wwas vistitng Poland last year one of his fleet Ił-62 was landing i KRK (Kraków Airport in Balice) and it was quite a wiev :)

@dustziggy Russian Air Force still use some of the Ił-62. And I would also like to fly in one of them. My grandmother emigrated to US i early '80 in one of thos operated by our Polisch Airlines LOT. Amazingly one od 14 our Ił-62 is still operating for a small airline in azyatic part of Russia. Two of our Ił-62 crashed in 1980 and 1987 - RIR for the people..

Sieht aus wie aus der DDR Tv-Serie "Treffpunkt Flughafen". Da war immer diese Kameraeinstellung und die IL-62 zu sehen.
Aber die sind damit auch nach Afrika und Asien geflogen. Und, Pech für den Vogel. :)

Es war der Bericht "Mit Interflug durch Ost und West" und ging um die Fluggesellschaft. Das Ende ist so abrupt, weil dann ein Interview kam.
Leider kann man schlecht erkennen, dass der zweite Vogel von der Start-/Landeklappe getroffen wird. Auf dem Original sah man das besser. Die eingebaute Pause ist nicht immer exakt gleich, so dass der 2. Vogel mal mehr oder weniger weit geflogen ist, bevor man ihn nach der Pause "fliegen" sehen kann.

Interesting clip and looks like the turbines didn't suck'em up in this instance! Lucky!

In the original report you can see that die 2. bird is hit by the flap. The converting to mp4 and the pause makes it a bit inaxact. But I thing these birds are not the smalles one ;-)
