Oof! The product of disposable "mash-up" culture? When the media that precede a 'creative effort' are "available" for use without regard to the original context then it renders both the "new" creation and the source material less and less relevant...if anyone can 'edit' in such a parasitic fashion, then 'everyone' thinks they're 'original'...i'm in favor of lenience of copyright on older films for viewing, but this is an argument for enforcement! Like mixing too many colors, it just makes MUD!
