a LOT of people have lost a LOT of money because of the promises made by Mtld, im not one of them BTW(so no sour grapes here) you do not need a .mobi domain to have a sucessfull mobile project. both yahoo & google (2 of the major backers of .mobi, as well as microsoft) are mostly responsible for the flop. ofcourse google & yahoo didnt want .mobi to be a hit, because they KNEW their ad-revenue for standard webpages would have been impacted
