The sound effects make this one of the cutest videos ever! Growing up, I always called these Daddy Longlegs, but the name Harvestman is more dignified. I didn't know they ate seeds...thanks for keeping a close eye on the smallest things.

Thank you so much:) I called them the same as you until this very year! Learned they are the Harvestman and are not even spiders! They are quite friendly and peaceful. They also don't bite!Prefering to hang out inside a flower sipping nectar...or to wait for the shrews and birds to drop a half eaten seed:)

OMG, That isn't scary. look up camel spider, and I think you won't be so worried about the peaceful harvestman anymore :)

Yep not spiders, just made to look like them :) Most people like myself see much more of these guys around than actual spiders. Mostly the ones with the very tiny brown bodies and the even thinner legs. They are very peaceful, they don't bite humans so if you see one just leave it be, he just wants to hang out :D
