Windows Mobile Device Emulator & VERY Brief Tour of Windows Mobile

This is a quick look at the Windows Mobile Device Emulator available from Microsoft's website. (http://www.microsoft.com/DOWNLOADS/details.aspx?FamilyID=38c46aa8-1dd7-426f-a91­3-4f370a65a582&displaylang=en#Requirements). This is also a very brief tour of Windows Mobile. Yes, I know Windows Mobile has been around for some time, but there may still be people who don't know about it. I give a very brief explanation of the input methods, the Office Suite, the dial pad, and how to shut down a program. Note that these were thought up at random as I went along. While intended for developers, I see this emulator as a tool to get used to Windows Mobile without having to go out & check out a device. NOTICE: Every device is unique, so this should be thought of as a GENERAL look at Windows Mobile. Each manufacturer loads their own special software on. Increasingly this software DOES NOT represent what you will see in the emulator by default. However, it can be made that way. You will need to refer to your device's specific Help files for information.
