Shadow Foreign Secretary Douglas Alexander says Prime Minister David Cameron "didn't want a deal" at the European summit in Brussels on Friday.

Speaking on the Andrew Marr Show the Labour spokesman added that the British delegation should have asked for a "seat at the table" of the Eurozone negotiations, but without a voting role.
