tHIS IS PART 2 OF THE PROCESS OF MAKING A GREAT VICTORIAN COSTUME WITHOUT SEWING! HAT AND DRESS WERE DONE WITH HOT GLUE GUN AND SAFETY PINS!! LORD KNOWS I CANNOT SEW TO SAVE MY LIFE. HOT GLUE GUNNING IS PRETTY SECURE BELIEVE IT OR NOT!

  • Where did you get the base hat? And did you glue all of the blue ribbon around it, or did you just wrap it around and glue in one spot?

  • @SolarSkittles I got the hat at a bridal shop at a deep discount. A lot of times bridal shops will have discontinued hats or hats that just won't sell & you can get them for cheap! I believe I got this hat for $10. I placed the glue in the front so the ribbon would not slide while trying to place it evenly then i placed a spot of glue on the back so it would stay. And of course all embelishments were glued as well. Hope this helps! Thanks for stopping by & as always, Much Love, Dani
