Matthew Broderick loses his accent

You know as I was doing the "Matthew Broderick: Same Character" series I realized that it's not necessarily that he plays the same character it's more that he, frankly, isn't that good of an actor. I mean he was great in Ferris Bueller and all but what does he have going for him in the 90's? Therefore I decided to post a video compilation of his worst moments. I don't really have that much time to post a whole compilation now so I'll just post one little clip.

@bibleanddisneyfan Yeah I have-I don't think he's bad in EVERYTHING. Just some things. Though really I didn't even continue this anyway-I should probably re-title it Matthew Broderick loses his accent.

The beginning part was definitely not a British accent.

Yes but you can tell he's definately putting on some accent that he loses by the next line.

Nope, just sounds American to me. And I'm British.

What I mean is there is a huge difference in the sound of his voice in both lines. Now I know you should give off different emotions when you're acting but you don't have to change your whole voice just to act.

@smurvin Oh. Ok. lol Well, I haven't seen a ton of his work, but I've liked/loved what I've seen. I've seen Ferris Bueller, Glory, Godzilla, not a great movie but I thought he was fine, The Cable Guy, and of course The Lion King films. So, there may be some things where his performances are considered bad, but I haven't seen one yet. Most people didn't like him in Godzilla, but I thought he was fine. I didn't hate the movie either. Not great but not awful, in my opinion.

he's a good man, and a very lucky one, too.
