This is my review of my 1st custom saber built by the amazing people at JQ sabers.
Its running a petit crouton with darkmeat sound font, red/orange luxeon 3 led, in hilt recharge with kill key, I forgot to mention that when the saber detects a clash the blade flashes in a similar way to the blaster block effect.
Theres alot of info so I recommend watching the video.
This saber isnt affiliated with Darth Bane it is my personal weapon (Darth Bain).

A very, very big thank you to Susan & Daren @ JQ Sabers for all your expert help

Im still unsure about the name so im open to sensible suggestions

Interested in custom sabers ? check out www.jqsabers.com I highly recommend them !

Thanks for watching & May the force be with you all . . . . .

  • its darth bane

  • @NikePauly read the description *facepalm*

  • about how responsive would you say the board is considering it dosent have the accolrameters in it?

  • @Vaneyagami personally i think the PC boards are very responsive, well this one is anyway, As this is my 1st PC board saber i havent got anything to compare it to though apart from my FX conversions & the PC board is way more responsive than those by far

The swing sounds dont go off when the saber is powered on & idle (on the stand) but when you move the saber the swing sounds activate without alot of effort at all & theyre accurate to & dont go off randomly. Hope this answers your question

  • That is a lovely peice! Glad to see someone else uses PC boards! Very Maul inspired I think!

  • @Polaris543 I didnt really notice untill you said but yeah its kinda Maul inspired, he is awesome after all !!

This is my first PC board saber, but its definitely not gonna be the last ! I was quite suprised how good the PC boards are. Thanks for looking at my saber too im glad you like it. MTFBWY

Yes mate the led driver used is a standard one off of there website, you can choose what colour you want it to be too. As my saber is a Sith saber it just had to be red !

  • @DarthBain619 That did answer my question thanks. Is the one in your saber the same one you can buy on the JQ saber website?

  • @xAUSSIEREAPER

Yes exactly, theres a button inside the hilt that you can change and/or select what led pattern you want or leave it to cycle through all 20. At the moment im leaving it on all 20 patterns but im going to go through them and see if one catches my eye. Hope this answers your question.
