  • One trick pony.. Seriously, it baffles me how unimaginative Mana is. This song just rehashes elements from songs off of Beyond the Gate and Dixanadu, two other poorly put together albums in my opinion. This sounds incredibly cheap. To me MdM hasn't been interesting since Nocturnal Opera. It amazes me how much respect people still have for Mana and his "uncompromising artistic vision", which in the end simply means using the same ideas without taking in reasonable criticism.

  • I used to be such a big fan of this band, I can't believe how bad this song is.

Surely he realized this is almost the same as several of his other songs, also poorly played metalcore riffs mixed with boring drums and midi sounding orchestration does not equal a hit. Big thumbs down, I really hope he can read english.

  • Why does this song sound familiar? Maybe Mana-sama is trying to keep the sound of the band the same throughout instead of experimenting in different fields like most metal bands. In which case it's understandable because then it will sound familiar even though it's actually different. However, maybe Mana-sama should try to approach the next album like a Malice Mizer CD (at least like when Klaha was around) but keep it heavy-er.

  • @KuroNaoki i cant agree with u anymore mdm still sounds amazing

  • @elektromanyaro But the lyrics are gothic. Do lyrics mean nothing?

  • @NeoNebula0Katana Yeah, a lot of people don't seem to understand the concept of just letting stuff they don't like be, even when it has no effect on anything outside of the people who enjoy the music.

There's so much hate on Moi dix mois, especially Seth era, but there's really no reason for it.

  • @sickninjamonkey Nicely said. I also mostly prefer "Seth era". And this is a song that I really enjoy. I don't undersatnd all of the hatred, honestly.

  • @elektromanyaro While I find Mana one of the most pretentious artists in the Visual kei movement, and sure, a lot of his compositions have problems, I think your criticism is a little harsh.

I can't agree with that D+Sect rehashes Beyond the gate and Dixanadu. When Mana makes albums he makes a unique sound for each album, and then he uses it throughout that album, and makes a new sound for the next one.

Beyond the gate: Lots of screamo.

    Dixanadu: That special keyboard sound.

    D+Sect: Orchestra.
