I think Spencer is a fine scholar who uses common sense to explain what Islam is and what it is becoming. That being said I do not beleive this girl. I saw her statement on video and it was the worst case of acting I have ever seen. I really think she had been "groomed" by a religious freak preacher into running away for promises of wealth.
This girls father had allowed her to be a "cheerleader", no Muslim devout enough to "honor kill" his daughter would allow that for one second, sorry.

MUSLIMS LIE! There are two forms of lying to non-believers that are permitted under certain circumstances, taqiyya and kitman. These circumstances are typically those that advance the cause Islam - in some cases by gaining the trust of non-believers in order to draw out their vulnerability and defeat them. The Arabic word used here for scheme (or plot) is makara, which literally means deceit. If Allah is deceitful toward unbelievers, then Muslims are allowed to do the same.
