Practice runs for a landing scene in the upcoming amelia earhart movie starring Richard Gere and Hilary Swank. This scene is being filmed on the dartmouth side of Halifax harbour in Nova Scotia, right in front of the new NSCC Building. The video is kinda long but you will see the real set plane in the background and the practice plane fly by. This was going on while the main stars were on lunch break shortly after this video was shot a speedboat pulled up along side of the barge they are using to let some people off, Looks like they had lunch at macaskills in Dartmouth. I Cought this on my phone this morning around 1:15 Eastern time. 06/17/2008
Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology and sociology:
(1) What does flying and aviation mean to females?
(2) Why do girls want to fly high and become a pilot?
(3) How can flying benefit a females personal life?
(4) Through flying, what have female pilots proved and demonstrated to the world? or, What kind of social value(s) have female pilots brought up?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

looks like they're filming the scene where earhart took off as a passenger on the Fokker Friendship in 1928. Matter of fact this might be the actual location Earhart and her crew flew from.
