You must no have read Potchka's post, or didn't care about what she had to say. Because, Potchka very clearly said she wanted to give the baby up for adoption, but the baby's ABUSIVE father REFUSED to sign the paperwork. Potchka said the only reason she had the Abortion was because she didn't want the baby's abusive father beating the baby like he was beating her. Unlike Adoption, where the Father can prevent the Adoption, Abortion only requires the consent of the Mother. SOME CHOICE!

No I didn't read the other post. Abusive relationships are a hard thing and it usually takes a long time for the woman to get out of one. This is, however, ONE case and furthers the case for choice, that is, each pregnancy should be evaluated by each woman each time., because they are all different. I would NOT want the father to have any legal input on abortion,. Would you?!?

I don't argue Scripture with unbelievers in this type of setting, because most OT Scriptures require more than 500 characters to explain the WHAT, WHEN & WHY.

Watch the Pharmacratic Inquisition and research Joseph Campbell. ALL religions are myths and metaphors, which is a good thing. Knowing this the words make more sense than a literal interpretation.

How I wish you had had a Legal Counselor and a Social Worker! I know it's hard think straight when you're in a situation like the one you were in, and some help just might have made the difference.
Calling the Police & insisting that the Abusive Father be charged with Domestic Abuse just might have enabled you to remove his Rights to stop any adoption if he would have been convicted...
