@dbirdwell Well, i'm in the UK and i have both shows on DVD; they are readily available from Amazon UK and such. The current price on Amazon for the Survivors (1975) Boxset Series 1-3 (11 discs) is £22.34, and each Series of Blake's 7 is available at £15.47 currently .

I just got the original series on DVD, and am currently up to episode 9 of the first series. Although it obviously looks a little dated, i'm quite enjoying it so far. I was (well, still am) a big fan of Blake's 7, so i was interested to see this earlier Terry Nation effort.

I didnt watch the original show (this one) but survivors 2008 is very good because it is adapted to our times, maybe this was a very good program in the 70's but is kind of old now.
Sometimes we have to move on, im waiting for survivors season 3.

Love this series. HMV were flogging off the boxsets for just £20 each in their recent clearout, so I took the plunge and watched the whole lot straight through for the first time over the last month or so. And bloody brilliant it is, too.
