They should put sleeping pills in the food and they can rescue the hostages when the hijacker falls asleep.

@macbolan00 ...i agree timing is everything...its a tough call, once they had made the decision to enter the the bus they seamed poorly equipt to expedite their mission.. better training to deal with situations wouldn't go astray i say..

@napolean34 agreed but i see too many posts criticizing the policemen/swat. the swat weren't the ones tasked to neutralize mendoza and free the hostages. they were just supposed to open the bus and extricate the hostages. but mendoza started shooting hostages so they rushed in ahead of schedule. and the bad thing, the sniper, who was designated to nuetralize mendoza, lined him up several seconds late so mendoza was able to shoot at the swat trying to enter and kill 8 hostages.

the cops did what they could. when a hostage taker starts shooting people without warning, you have dead people. that's it.
