The Secular Coalition for America held its first-ever Biennial Strategic Summit in Washington, D.C. May 19 - 21, 2011. watching from the UK makes me sad that this happens in America, i mean that this is such a minority, watching the clips of Newt Gingrich and seeing his support... scary, really puts me off going to America and lowers my opinion of it as a country

I'm all for them, providing they do not get involved with left wing party politics. There are plenty of Libertarian type free thinking atheists who care very little for BIG government (god is government) collectivist nanny-state issues.
