Phonecam video of some gameplay. Last I checked (like 6mo ago) there were very few of these but nowadays there are way better ones available.

It's better to play in the dark but then especially with a cheap (non)camera you can't see anything. Also the volume was quite low so all the mechanical noise comes through fairly strong (it also doesn't have any padding in the solenoids at the moment).
Anyways, it's a fun game. ;)

Video was shot with N6120c, and compiled with avidemux and WMM. Resolution was one thing that needs to be taken into account next time (shoot closer to minimize borders).

Finding configurations for both avidemux and WMM that didn't crash one or the other was a PITA, but MPEG-4 ASP using AVI container finally worked out, after removing a set of codecs and directshow filters to stop WMM from crashing.

  • What is your TRU-PITCH at? There is a level (with a bubble inside of it) next to the plunger. Can you take a picture of that and email that to me. Thanks

  • Oh people are still watching this :). Well the top of the bubble is at the thick line (2nd lowest) at the moment. I've since moved but don't remember adjusting the legs so I guess it was the same when shooting the video.

  • Look at my lost in the zone video, as well as my high scores video and other twilight zone pinball videos

  • also put the camera right at the base of the game.. where your waist is... belt buckle...

  • got an idea for ya... if you have a tripod you should use it and also use higher quality video the upload limit is 2gb so.... my buddy has this too...sweet game... one more thin... when its dark the camera cant get the video as good as it would with good lighting... you can always change the contrast and brightness with a video editing program... hope this helps... peace

  • Wait did you manage to save a video file that was editted in avidemux and open it in wmm? Evrey time I try it says it can't load it...

  • thank you very much.

  • Greatest pinball game of all time!
