The Stone in the Field
This is played on my B set made by Andreas Rogge, recorded close up because people are always asking where the extra notes are coming from, so here you can see the "regulator" keys, played with the right wrist or the heel of the right hand.

  • nice, great sound, i have some of my man's bagpipe work on my page, he is recovering from a heart surgery but still sounding pretty good

  • nicely done - Reck would be proud.

  • Very nice piping!

  • @DrFredUilleann, Ah, fair enough. Lol. Two friends both have Rogge B sets, however I believe one was patterned after Robbie Hannon's Kenna set as a special request. I was curious as to what Andreas' other option is. Guess I know now!

  • @Legertymusic

    From Rogge site:

The pipes in B are a modified copy of an instrument by Colgan (owned by Jimmy O´Brien-Moran) .

    ;)

  • @DrFredUilleann, I have seen Andreas' website. I am curious about this particular chanter and what chanter design he based it off. Kenna? Coyne? etc.

  • @Legertymusic

    Just look his web, Zac.

  • Nice! Do you know what B set this chanter is based on? I know Andreas makes several different patterns based on historical chanters.

  • Thanks for this video :)
