This is more of an opinion really. if your making a "metal" weapon, dont use tin foil. it wrinkles easily and imho looks terrible, just paint it silver. which reminds me i still need to sand and re-paint my master sword for Link. so much to do with so little time before AX. and before people start saying its like 3 months away I have like 3ish hours of day light a day if im lucky other than that it's all late night hours at like 3am. can't really bust out power tools at that time =(

@PhoenixMEdown Cool cool maybe we'll run into each other I'm doing Ken (i'm actually wearing that right now too 0_o) on day 2 for the fighting gen gathering you should go. um lets see what got me into cosplay was a friend, and a bet. so really, i wouldn't be surprised if someone said this already, just have fun with it. me and my friend dressed up as Haruhi and Mikuru in the bunny outfits, and if your wondering i lost the bet but hey Mikuru is kind of a shy character so what ever.

I apologise for not making this clear when I wrote the comment, I did not mean foundation, wearing foundation is fine, it really helps! :) I mean when people cosplay as guys then cake on the eyeliner and stuff for no reason, it just does not look right! As I said before, guys don't wear make up (as in like eyeliner and eyeshadow) so it should not be worn when cosplaying a guy. Sorry for the confusion!
