so, what if you are stuck in the mud and need to rock yourself back and forth... wouldnt this completely destroy this?

the electromag is still 10x less likely to fail when compared to a arb, rubicon elec/vac lock or a ox lock.

@Afrocanuk it's electromagnetic. a magnetic field is generated when an electrical signal is introduced. as long is there's juice going to the diff, the locking mechanism will activate.

This differential uses electro-magnets. One more thing to go wrong.
