"Unchanging Things" is an anime theme song for "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time", Toki wo kakeru shôjo.
"Garnet" is also sung in the anime. These two songs are Twins. "Garnet" is sung by feelings of Makoto (girl) for Chiaki (boy), while "Unchanging Things" is sung by feelings of Chiaki for Makoto. They love each other indeed, but too late to realize it in the complex situations.

Did anyone notice that when Makoto finally exhausted her last leap to help Chiaki, she actually landed back at the same time and spot when she first hit the 'chestnut' and fell under the pile of book accidentally? Is it possible that she had unknowingly regained the ability to leap, which Chiaki later realized and whispered into her ears?

i only bought this movie cus i just happened to come across it while shopping for something else and it was a good price and i'm sooooo glad i did!

such a great movie! after i finished it i watched it over again the very next day! love this song and also the credits song - Garnet
