Hello everybody..
Im from south-germany-Ludwigsburg.Last Year i have seen an Film about these wounderfull and so beautyfull birds.
Im NOW an absolutlyfan of kakapos..
I hope and pray that mankind can save these Birds,and an make it happen that they are in near feature "out of danger"..
For the scientists who are feeding and watching them and their chicken:
You should get the "Nobel Peace Price" for your work

Is this the sterile male that is shown to the public on ulva island? Makes me want to cry as they look so defenseless. I love ulva island and have a video of it myself.

Yes, that´s right. I´m not shure if he is really sterile, but beause of a respiratory illness Sirocco was one of the first hand-raised Kakapos and as a result he became imprinted on humans and he doesn´t want to mate with Kakapo Ladies.
