  • remember the first time i saw these dudes fucking crazy show

  • probably one of the most under rated metalcore bands ever....

  • @bob20202020 Ahhh yeahhh! :D

  • @chris77jay77 Dr. Jan Itor**

  • @bob20202020 I believe his name was Jan Itor.

  • @DeftonesGirly yeah spitfires where its at if you like him, i liked the new dude just as much though

  • @kalebyay it was amazing, until Jon was no longer in the band.

  • They are not the same!! they should have changed their name!

  • Miss this band :( But I will always have my Scarlet tattoo :)

  • LOVE this album!!

  • @smilystoll a good mathcore would be Gorod, its a bit on the death metal end of things but its technical and blows away most bands

  • @nevermore311 you nailed it perfectly! Exactly what I thought! Jon's lyrics had this twisted rhyme scheme of this apathetic, paranoid, drug induced (recreationally or dr prescribed), overindulgentj/ultraviolence that no one has ever been able to do.. except with some of Marilyn Manson's older lyrical work, which I am sure Jon was greatly influenced by. They really need him back and write another Cult Classic, or Lust About ep..

  • @TheDivineAberration I have to dissagree, mathcore is more like; Iwrestledabearonce, Pacifist, or To The Lions...

  • I love rockin this song while driving!

  • @Lacuervo pioneers of what?

  • They weren't the same without Jon. Brandon did okay in his stead, but the true theme of Scarlet wasn't complete without Jon's fucked up lyrics and strange delivery. Everything Jon writes is cryptic and paranoid and it suits the music these guys made so well.... much like Wes Eisold's lyrics. Both of those guys can make you sick to your stomach and resentful of your entire life just from reading or hearing their words. You may not like it... but that's because it's powerfully written.

  • I MISS THEM!!

  • all there cds are amazing, their really amazing.... really progressive, talented musicians. it shouldnt matter what "genre" the music is. its about composition and the art of it.......... like shitty pop bands dont put any heart or anything into their music its always the same shit over and over with the same lyrics about having fun. unrealistic ,superficial, scene kids who are in it for the fame not the music.

  • @Paulywhore i didn't like cult classic at all. xD i think this was always meant to fall apart is their best

  • @Jesusdanger26Oh Cult Classic is their best cd.

  • @bob20202020 hate to be the dick that argues about the genre, but these guys a pretty "mathcore" -ish, i've noticed some interesting time signatures thrown around from my first listen (5/8 in the first few verses.)

  • Amazing live performers, and all around nice guys.

  • This band is epic, though Roundtree could be replaced with ease.

  • These guys were pioneers.
