The 1-mile parade started at 7 p.m. on Sat, Dec. 5, 2009. With temperatures dipping to 47 degrees, thousands of spectators lined the sidewalks and median to capture views of the 100+ entrants. Dogs, beauty queens, scouts, school clubs, marching bands, syncopated drummers, Nacho Libre, and business entries entertained both young and old. Check out some of my favorite entries at the Christmas Parade here in this video I made. My favorite entry was my Little/Teen/Miss/Mrs. Long Beach & Southern Calif. pageant titleholders who rode in convertibles driven by Moses, Rick, John and Colin, and escorted by gingerbread men (Chip & Taylor) who carried the banner. http://MissLongBeach.com & http://MissSouthernCalifornia.com
