I always knew of the problems of religion when it came to individual rights, but I never thought to compare slave-owning America with modern England. The reality of the matter truly disturbs me.

@gratex That's a good point and to be honest I can't answer that. My experience was that in Scotland, Islam wasn't that prevalent (although it was much more prevalent than in America), however, I understand that it is quite prevalent in London...and whether the city of London or Scotland has more cultural significance I actually couldn't say (no offense to all the wonderful Scots who would kill me to hear all of Scotland compared to mere London.)
