Leaving from an upscale party in Philadelphia, a young upper class couple's walk to their car turns from flirtatious banter to a violent end. Looming in the shadows, the archangel of death, Azrael, stalks them, manipulating their reality as they speak of sexual innuendos and their plans of continuing their night. Unseen by its victims, the creature influences their thoughts and rationale with commands as they pass. The playful nature decreases as annoyance and rejection settles in. The manipulation comes into fruition leaving one of two bloody and lifeless as Azrael continues the will of God. 'Whom God Helps' is a depiction of Azrael the archangel of death as an instigative and manipulative creature that induces fate's plan upon us.
