well its good to admit you need jesus christ as a saviour because its a life change;but if you really want to grow a relationship with christ then you prbbly should get connected in a church that preaches the right messages and that is a loving environment. then you should engage in things like bible study and prayer so that you may become a strong follwer of God. i'd aslo recomend getting baptized cuz this is a public demonstartion of your life change :)

going to church doesn't make you a Christian. if you realize you need to change and ask for forgiveness thru Jesus Christ and repent (change your ways) then you are a new follower in Christ.

Is it enough just saying to Jesus " I know im a sinner, please forgive me" and not goto church or anything like that, but realize your need for him? And love him and obey his commandments to the best of your human ability. Does that make someone a Christian?
