Applying ink to a scratchboard using an airbrush. This helps darken key areas and add more drama to the piece. Once the airbrushing is finished, the piece is then re-scratched to bring out highlights where needed and add additional depth.
@ilovewarriorcats1 I believe it's because the solution is watered down considerably, you can see it on the sides when she's clearing the brush. A low opacity medium like that will accumulate and generate shadows while not severely harming bright areas.
