Thank you for taking the time to post these videos, Im yet to experience these trials and tribulations, Im currently getting everything together to build a Prusa Reprap im hoping ive made a good move in moving towards building my own 3d printer and that it will turn into a positive peice of kit and not something that will just sit around and not meet expectations.. regards RIchard

Thank you for posting your experiences with your RepRap. I just got my first prints with my Huxley. And it's nice to see your early experiences are so similar to mine. Hopefully, I'll to learn from your progress. Keep up the good work.

@karandex I've picked up some RAM heatsinks that just stick on they seem to do the job.

i ordered the v6 hotend(the new one you got) and i couldnt get the resistor to fit. but i found that the paint coating was too thick , so i sanded it down a bit and it fit very nicely. i think its better solution than to make the hole bigger in the block. Camiel from mendel-parts should really get some instructions up on how to assemble the hotend .
also mine came with copper washers to put inbetween the brass parts , supposed to help with binding or something, may be important.

@rooski8 I've moved on to the makergear nichrome wire. Using the resistor just seems like a bad idea now. Pushing a resistor beyond its normal use.
