Yup, it was a nasty storm. Insurance premiums are gonna go up again :(
This year was really wierd though. Most of the payouts were a lot higher than the one 2 years ago.
They wrote off my 2007 car, $23k. I only owed 16k on it and i still have 3years warranty. Crazy. Lucky for me tho :) Got a free car out of it. Bad dents though ... no broken glass thankfully.

Wow, My mom (who still lives in carstairs) told me about this atrocious mess.
Personally i've been out of carstairs for about a year now, but i cant beleive this even after seeing it.
(Was the nightshift guy @ macs for a few years heh)
I heard the house we *used* to live in, while in carstairs (mom has moved to outskirts of town) had both basement windows smashed out and looks like a lot of the other houses with the front walls just torn up =/
Feel bad for all those who had to endure this
