Awesome quality, audio and video. Part 3 of the entire performance. This is a new song from their upcoming album "Green Naugahyde", set for release 9/13/11

  • im kinda dissapointed with larrys guitar parts, not sayin there bad, but he does the same thing

its just "dink dink dink" then something else like "diiiinnnk" its not bad but when compared to frizzel fry it aint that good

honstly this sounds like les was tryin to do his solo work

  • @deadly2426 Wait till you hear the full studio album, just wait. Definitely NOT Claypool solo work. Pure unadulterated PRIMUS, I assure you

  • @deadly2426 I was thinking the same thing actually... I really hope shroomshady27 is right about it the album being pure primus though. when i was a young buck I had every primus album, side project, and bootlegs on cd, someone stole my book and it destroyed my motivation to collect everything primus. however I'm 30 I've been playing bass since I was 10. never had a lesson. my first influences were cliff burton and geddy lee. I heard primus and it changed everything. sorry, where was i?

  • @a2r1v1i2s I am always right sir. Props to you for being a real PRIMUS fan. I'm the same way, except Les got me playing bass, and got me more into Geddy Lee, Stanley Clarke, Victor Wooten... you know, them type dudes. I'm sure you'll love the new album, it's incredible. PRIMUS SUCKS!

  • @a2r1v1i2s All the feedback I have gotten is this new CD is the same old Primus. Thank God! Just saw this tour 3xs. An Evening With Primus. This CD is nothing short of amazing....if anything, 20 years later, Les moves less. But...who plays bass like this God?! Answer: NO ONE.

  • Are you f'n kidding me???? From Primus to FFB to Holy M. to Sausage...Les Claypool wrote the book on his original sound. I have been a fan since 1988, and seen 26 shows. Noooo way. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one and mose of them STINK!

  • @TomAce200 victor wooten...

  • @deadly242 yeah that's kind of what i figured. claypool is getting older and he has strayed so far away from primus. so I can understand if his sound is different. I really loved anti-pop though. and amongst primus fans that's like the "load" , metallica, album of primus. But so far I love the new album. really like moron tv. I'm just so glad these guys are still jamming after all these years. it's a beautiful thing. have a good night captain\!

  • @a2r1v1i2s i have the album and it ist bad by anymeans, I honstly love the ablum.

It sounds like primus, but more of les claypools solo work imo.

Some songs really stick out such as eyes of the squirl are watching, moron tv, jillies on smack, and lee van cleef. Really awesome songs. Just wish it had more of a frizel fry/seas of cheese feel to it

  • @shroomshady27 thanks sport! I'm actually downloading the album right now. I'll subscribe to your channel. you seem like a cool guy. Primus sucks ass!!!
