@RawrMuffin99 Actually you dont, reading elsewhere i found out that you only need to hover over the pad and the pointer moves accordingly.

I'd much prefer a pc version, but the cheapest good one is used for 400 dollars and I dont have that

It all depends on what you're going to do with it. If you're serious about graphic arts, I would get the Intuos. The Bamboo will suffice for all the casual needs.
