Dave this and all your other videos are awesome. I have canon 7d and the problem I am having is I never get a crisp, well focused video. Its always little blurry. After seeing this video what things I am doing wrong. I am going to give it a shot again with the settings and tips that you have recommended.
I want to mostly record dance shows where there is lot of motion and low light or sometimes stage light. And getting well focused video is really difficult for me (as a beginner)

are you really sure that the color temperature can't be changed in post?
as far as I do post production I reduce the saturation or correct the red color channel to get rid of the "warm" effect. I maybe understood something wrong..

Hey Dave I have a question. With my DSLR, I usually bring it out for recording concerts and live performances and I always keep in mind the framerate rule. However in most cases it's not really ideal for me record my subjects, often dancing at 1/125 since it's often indoors with minimal lighting or outside in the dark. Most of the time, I sacrifice in quality by cranking the ISO up but sometimes that isn't enough and a shallow DOF isn't something I want. Would you still recommend going 1/125?

Why would you ever use the standerd picture style?
I use a custom PS that gives me 2 stops lat and 4 stops dynamic range.
