In summer 2011 I had the great chance to spend each a few hours on the aprons of Bogota Eldorado and Villavicencio La Vanguardia airports, Colombia. At these locations you meet warm hearted people and incredible vintage planes still in commercial operation and some rare Antonov birds. When visiting Villavicencio I noticed 12 operational Douglas DC-3 Dakotas and quite a number of them was active flying loads of cargo and passengers into remote Colombian jungle locations. My special thanks certainly go to Felipe and his family for making this possible. Enjoy the spot, Patrick
