Moscow International Festival

The "3rd Kazan International FICTS Festival" has taken place to Moscow (Russia) from July 29th in the ambit of the Second International Sport Forum "Russia -- Country of Sports" to the "Druzhba Main Hall" at Luzhniki Olympic Complex. The President of the Festival is Dr Shamil Tarpishchev IOC Member and President of Council Physical Education and Sports.
The event had in programme - beyond 80 projections coming from all over the world - the Meeting "Prospects for use of digital technologies, mass media, and exchange of experience in the field of the development and implementation of mass publicity campaigns" and "The problems of physical education and sports in regions of Russia".
There was also an Exhibition based on the best works of Russian photographers. The exhibition included various subjects among which: victories of Russian sports personalities, Paralympics, History of Olympic victories of the USSR and Russia, Moscow Olympics 1980 and Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics. Several prestigious personalities attended to the International Forum: Dmitriy Medvedev President of the Russian Federation, Yury Luzhkov the Mayor of the Moscow, Alexander Zhukov new President of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) and many Olympic medallists of the Olympic Games Moscow '80.

During the Opening Ceremony Prof. Ascani awarded with the "Honorary FICTS Award" the President Dr Tarpishchev "for the important and significant role done for the development of the culture and education through sport".
