Well Kurt Cobain did contribute a lot to the Foo Fighters. Just listen to their first album, and if you can't hear Nirvana's influence then you obviously don't listen to Nirvana. Not to mention Dave Grohl recorded the Foo Fighters' very first EP, "Marigold," while still with Kurt Cobain.
Now, to all the haters of Cobain here, as soon as you become and influential enough musician to inspire your OWN GENRE, not band, GENRE, you can hate on whoever the fuck you want. Until then, you aint shit

A tribute to all those who died before their time, its the same 3 people over and over again, where's Zevon? Stevie Ray Vaughan? Randy Rhoads? Nice idea, but you need a hell of a lot more than this to be a tribute to all of them.
