Sonic 1 Game Gear Speedrun (22:45) Part 1

I've been practicing for a speedrun of Sonic 1 Game Gear to submit to SDA. This is a part 1 (split due to 10 minute limit) of a speedrun I did, in 22:45. I will probably improve this before submitting.

Someone correct me on this, is the game gear sonic 1 the same as the master system sonic 1?

It seems like it gets different from stage 2 on, but I don't really remember the master system sonic well.

This isn't a very good run if you don't get all those Chaos Emeralds,like the one on the Bridge that took me forever to figure out how to get when I was a kid before the internet made everything waaaay too easy.
